Hope on the Block

Our mission began in early 2022 as several community members began collaborating on a plan to open an essential needs pantry at the Fond du Lac Library. At the same time three students at North Fond du Lac High School were creating the foundations of Hope on the Block as a school project. We all saw a gap in the community's ability to provide essential resources to those most in need after hours when other organizations are closed. Knowing we had to take the first step towards addressing this gap in resources, the first essential needs pantry was opened at the Fond du Lac Public Library in August of 2022.

In May of 2023 with the help of the Leadership Fond du Lac Team Hope, we opened two more smaller community pantries in Ripon and North Fond du Lac.

In May of 2024 we began our Friday meal and supply distribution.
